CIN had continuous improvement routines in place. What they were missing was real-time visibility and a way to make teams accountable to their own performance. vaibe changed that across two sites and the numbers followed.

How an operational efficiency solution powered by gamification delivered measurable results across two sites.
CIN is a leading Iberian manufacturer and distributor of paints and varnishes, with a century-old legacy and operations spanning 3 continents, 10 production sites, and over 100 countries. At that scale, keeping teams productive and aligned isn’t just important, it’s what keeps the whole operation running.
But even in a company this size, two very different operations were facing the same underlying challenges, and that was holding operational efficiency back.
That’s where vaibe came in.
Both sites shared the same underlying challenges. Despite having continuous improvement routines and daily KPI updates already in place, CIN lacked real-time visualization of those indicators, making it difficult to analyze performance quickly and act on it. There was also no reliable way to track equipment downtime, no attendance tracking per station, and teams had no system to measure their own impact. Productivity growth was being held back.
At CIN’s automated distribution center, vaibe introduced daily picking challenges across day and night shifts, public displays with real-time KPI data on the warehouse floor, and two custom-built features:
Even in a highly automated distribution center, people are still at the core of the operation. Keeping them engaged, informed and accountable is what drives performance forward. The result was a 5% productivity increase in just 5 months, translating into 1,300 more units picked per day and 250 additional tons shipped per month.

At the raw materials warehouse, where teams receive 137 tons of material every single day, the results tell a story of their own.
vaibe was deployed across all warehouse operations, gamifying more than 9 KPIs and giving teams full visibility over their work for the first time. Real-time dashboards were deployed in the weighing and supply areas, and problem logging and work time tracking gave management a level of operational control that simply didn’t exist before.
Productivity increased by 13% and worker satisfaction with the project reached 100%.

The results across both sites have set the stage for what comes next. CIN’s expansion plans go beyond rolling vaibe out across all remaining operational areas, they are also looking internationally, exploring other distribution centers across Europe.
